As we recently mentioned, there are six styles of men's shoes (oxford, derby, loafer, buckle, sneaker, and ankle boots). These shoe styles also include their toe caps. In fact, four specific toe caps are featured in the Finsbury range: one-cut, straight, golf, and floral.
The “one-cut” or plain end
A plain toe, or "one-cut," refers to a single-piece shoe tip with no seams, so the vamp is simple. This sleek toe gives your shoes the ultimate elegance.
The stretch
A toe cap is a cap to which a piece of leather has been added. It can be formed from a simple seam or perforations. In this case, it is called a "perforated toe cap." It is the classic toe cap par excellence.
The golf course
Like the toe cap, a piece of leather is also added to the toe of the shoe. Here, however, the piece is more complex and extends towards the back of the shoe.
The flowery end
The toe of a shoe can also be flowered. In this case, it features several decorative perforations (usually of different sizes) on the vamp. A flowered shoe can very well have a plain, straight, or golf toe.
